During Michelle’s 20-year initial career in a hospital health care setting, she was inspired to be proactive, rather than reactive, in her own personal health and longevity journey. Positively influenced by the benefits she felt for both herself and her family with this proactive approach, she became actively involved in providing fitness inspiration to her broader community and in 1987 she began instructing group fitness classes and 10k running clinics.
After suffering a work-related spinal injury in 2004, she used her extensive fitness and exercise rehabilitation knowledge to safely guide herself back to full health. This pivotal moment in her own health motivated her to make a switch in her full-time career and Michelle then dedicated her energy and passion to providing complete and holistic Personal Training services.
Michelle now teaches small-group fitness training classes and personal training sessions, in which she employs resistance training as a superior method for strengthening and shaping the body to be optimally healthy and functional. She is also a Precision Nutrition Level 2 Certified Nutrition Coach, which enables her to educate, encourage, and motivate clients to follow the benefits of solid, science-based, delicious, and easy daily nutrition. Throughout all, Michelle’s greatest joy is teaching others how to shift to a healthier, more fulfilling lifestyle and baring witness to the results they achieve.
